Added an under seat sub-amp combo, sounds like I expected it to but better than no sub.

Comes with everything but a male to male stereo joiner; two bottom left connectors.

Also has a remote that has some limited amp/sub function, you also need to run power to the battery.

Fits nicely under the seat, can't see it with my seat pushed back

I popped out my current cluster to power the tk one up, everything looked good, but the tk cluster had, 224,547 kilometres, mine is 84,278.  From what I can see, the memory for the odometer is on an eprom, I'll have to de-solder my current one and re-solder it on the new one.

will the TK clusters peak tq and shift lights work with whats there already? or are you going to have to do some wiring to make it work properly?

also, did you ever get the car aligned? the one thing that bothered me was that the steering wheel was always off center

I did get it aligned, straight as an arrow.  There is wiring for the peak tq and shift, it has separate wires for those, power for the dig. speedo, and dimmers but the car has no dimmers.  The tq light runs off the tach signal, and I'm not sure where to wire the shift light, although it's pointless on a 4eat imo.  You can actually remove the 4eat gear tree and replace it with a dccd tree, it just has two clips and pops out which is kind of neat.

My powerucc II dash cam died. I contacted the dealer and looks like the sensor died.  I've had it for 3 years so thats that it I guess.  I'll be replacing it with a dual channel (front/rear camera): Lukas LK-7950 WD.  It has built in gps, wifi, built in parking mode which runs it when the motion detector or impact sensor is tripped; comes with a built in low voltage disconnect as well.  I'll be installing it this weekend; I bought it from a dealer in Calgary.

This is how it came packaged:

Spent some time this week trying to pin out this cluster, I can't find a wiring diagram anywhere for it. I put it in today, got it powered up - including the speedo -  and went for a drive, but no speed.  Next job is to find out which wire is the speed signal coming into my oem dash and tap into it; almost there  :)

Added to my journal: I started experiencing surging/hesitation intermittently, one day it was fine, next day or later on same day surging. No cel, no codes so it was frustrating trying to pinpoint what it could be, especially with how intermittent it was; here's what I checked trying to find what it could be.

Tested upstream 02 sensor  - good
Tested knock sensor – tested good but had small crack - replaced
Checked MAF sensor, cleaned
Checked all vacuum lines – all good (broke BOV nipple; repaired)
Checked grounds – all good
Checked alternator/battery voltage
Checked air filter – good
Checked fuel filter – changed
Checked IC y-pipe - good
Checked Plugs & Wires – good
Checked TPS - good

It became personal, man vs machine  >:( and I spent lots of time going over pages from different forums and found a reference to similar problems on an JDM NSX

Basically, the boards on the MAF sensor had an issue where the solder would pull away from the contacts, I pulled mine apart and found one contact that was not soldered tight and when I'd hit a bump on our lovely roads, it would cause the issue I was having.  I re-soldered it, put it back together and it is running back to it's reliable self again.  After two days I can say it has been resolved.

Here's some reference pictures from my car:

MAF - remove all sealant around the top of the MAF and remove lid:

Remove metal lid:

use a small flat blade screwdriver to carefully pry on circuit boards where it meets the pins; I had movement on pin two:

I have my OP inspection on Monday, I'll get the DRL's working ala Beans wiring job, other than that should be ok.

Big fat FAIL today on my OP, everything was good except; I have to have amber corner lights that are on a 45 degree angle that can be seen for 100'  So I have to drill some holes in the corner housings and pigtail some amber bulbs to the parking lights.

Now that I've passed my OOP inspection, I can put a nice muffler on.  I ordered a magnaflow 11255 stainless muffler and matching tip, same one I had on my '02 bugeye and sounds great.

Picked up an 07 N/A hatch 5spd so the beansmobile will be sold. Was a great car for 2 and a half years, I’ll lock the thread once it’s sold.
