I'll be at SSV tomorrow. If anyone is interested in hiking the wawa ridge, drop me a line. I was out on Sunday and ended up cutting fresh tracks through the bowl.

Black & Dirt (black/gold)... but the plate is a give-away :)

Ya, I might get there super early like that too. It depends, I may end up catching a ride with my buddy in his A4. But fo sho, if I see ya I'll holler.

I also carry a radio on channel 4:20.

I just spent the last week at Whistler / Blackcomb. Man, do they ever need a lot more snow. It was alright with the large amount of snow they got over the past week, but there are still so many rocks and trees where there should not be.

Great to be out riding on holidays, but I just wish there was more snow so I didn't have to ride my rock board.

Plust my gf wrecked her knee on Whistler, so that put a damper on the trip. Oh well, nothing torn so she will be back soon enough on the slopes.

P.S. [rant]What is with people not alternating in lift lines? It drives me nuts. It is so simple to do and makes the lift lines go faster for everyone. It seems like it is the worst at Whistler/Blackcomb too. People there think they are better than you and shouldn't have to wait. Or maybe that is just my jaded view. [/rant]

I was at KHMR yesterday.  Not bad, but it was packed.  When we got there, the line to get lift tickets was about 100 people deep, and stayed that way until well after 10:00 a.m.  I estimate that the line for the gondola was long enough that it would take about an hour to get to the top, maybe more.  Even better, the gondola kept stopping for some reason.

We used the Catamount quad in the morning, then switched to the Pioneer double in the afternoon.  Pioneer actually had untracked pow [if you knew where to look].  Pioneer could be the next Eagle Trees, but it's a little wide-spaced for my liking.  Also, they didn't take out the freeride stunts in some spots!  More than once I found myself on a built berm or ladder bridge.

We left early, and stopped into the Whitetooth Bistro in downtown Golden.  They had Innis & Gunn!  Very nice, quite refreshing and 6.6%.  My wife drove home.  :D

Revy eats KHMR's lunch and steals its milk money to buy booze.

Red Mountain and Whitewater beat the itshay out of KHMR at the bike racks after school.

KHMR wakes up in a bathtub full of ice with a note tied to its wrist, "Valhalla Powdercats has stolen your kidneys."

Discuss.
