Haha yea that's me. I'm gonna find this slip and post it with my car number. Don't undertand how that's hard to believe

I don't believe that to be honest. I had a 135i making 336WHP and 322WTQ that could only run low 13s at 108-109 MPH with a good launch.
I don't name things I know I'm going to sell eventually. Hence why I'd never name any kids I had.

Yea I could only find a ticket for 12.9. So I guess I won't be able to prove it.

But just because you couldn't get lower then 13's with that car doesn't mean someone else couldn't. Just sayin

Because at Alberta altitude, a stage 2 STi typically runs low 13s, not high to mid 12s
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

I'm not even gonna argue anymore. Wish I had the evidence, but I don't. So this will go nowhere

Hey kids.  I haven't been around here in decades it seems, but I went out and drove some straight lines yesterday so I figured I'd share.

Place - Northern Lights Raceway, Fort St John, BC. Sept 6 2014

Car - 2006 WRX: VF43, equal length header, 3" catless TBE, TGV deletes, Airboy tune, Hankook Ventus V12 255/40/17 (very worn).

Run #1 - 13.259 @ some mph (speed trap was busted on that lane)

Run #2 - 13.379 @ 103.70 mph

Ended up racing two Camaros, with very different results as you can see.  First one was a mid '90s v8 that seemed fairly stock except for a big boomy dual exhaust.  Second was a guy I know, 2012 or 2013 ZL1 with over 800hp to the fat sticky rear tires.  Thing is an absolute monster.

Only ended up doing those two time trial runs.  It was the last event of the year, there were hundreds of cars running in all different categories plus sleds and bikes, the event started late and it was nearly two hours between my runs.  Pretty happy with how the car did, I know I could have launched quite a bit harder and brought both the 60' and 1/4 times down, but WRX trannies are weak and I didn't want to give my poor daily driver any extra excuses to give me problems right before winter.

Fun day, happy with my car, wish I could have done more passes but not too chapped about it.

Nice runs, that's  pretty consistent, the track is sure nice now compared to what it used to be.  Ever run across Sean Falkenburgs '02 WRX in your travels over the years?

I don't know where I put my slips but I entered them all into a spreadsheet. Here are all the times I've raced so far:

Finally took my car out. I need a new clutch badly. If I launched it hard it would slip thru 1st and some of 2nd. Then it started slipping in 4th gear closer to the top end especially on my 109.44 mph trap.

Just finished up at Castrol for the First Street Legal of the year!

My STI was running consistent 12.9 @ 103mph and the track was cold.

Best time: 12.8  @105mph

Nice time! And thanks for reminding me, meant to post this after I went to the last Friday night street legal of summer last year, just never got around to it.

Also ran a 12.8 @ 106 mph in my Version II STi, was a new personal best and finally reached my goal of a sub-13 second pass, so that was probably its last time down the 1/4.  O0

So do you have to launch really hard for a sub 2 second 60?  And how long does your clutch last?

Ran the car last night at a private event at Castrol.

IAT at the maf was 125°F, ambient was 30°C at the track, Density altitude was 5500ft. Not the best conditions, but still had the fastest time I've ran.
