Good morning everyone!

Day 13 of 24 Blackfriar Scottish Ale by Inveralmond

Tasty! Super drinkable for a scotch ale, compared to something line Innis & Gunn which I enjoy, but find challenging all the same.

Day 15 of 24:

Porcupine Quill Brewing Co. - Karoo Red

From South Africa.

Description - Our second beer beautifully hopped and strongly bittered at 49.4IBU’s leaves a fantastic after taste and is definitely a more beer. At 5.5% abv it packs a punch and will have hopheads clamouring for more. It has a beautiful nose and that was the responsibility of Willamette whole flower hops.

I found mine to be only mediocre.  I didn't enjoy the tart/bitter finish to mine.

Woldtop Yorkshire Brewery - Marmalade Porter

Description:  Wold Top Marmalade Porter, a complex rich dark porter with a sweet malty base, overtones of bitter orange and hints of coffee and chocolate. The name ‘Porter’ came about as a result of its popularity with Eighteenth Century street and river porters.

I just opened this one tonight, and I can't seem to taste the marmalade? Or am I just congested?

I found it _very_ mildly orangey/citrusey...

No where near as orangy as:

It's good, and it's very much what the name says.  it's a porter but with a strong winter spice.

I didn't like the Winterporter very much, I think I only drank half of it and then gave up.

Today's double IPA was pretty good. I was expecting the worst when I read it was a 9.5% Double IPA, but it was very enjoyable for even a non-IPA enthusiast.

I almost don't care what today's tastes like because the bottle is so awesome.

I was in a hurry on my way out of the house this morning so I didn't even see what type of beer it is or where it is from, just that the bottle is awesome.

Day 22 of 24:

Rooie Dop - Final Countdown Winter Saison.

That one was gross. Mine tasted like soap.

Also, caution, it's very, very carbonated. I also gave this beer a few minutes to settle, and am a bit weirded out by it. There is A LOT of sediment in it.
