I use it. But I never watch live, so I never check the app til after the race.

I was hoping to hit Montreal this year, but it doesn't look like I can find a dog sitter, and flights are getting more and more expensive. Looking at potentially going to an international one, but I'm not sure which. Monaco would be amazing, but $$$.

When I went to Mtl, everything was $$. Hotel was like $900 for 5 days and was not a nice hotel.

Race was fun and food was good though :D

Well I priced the whole package out at $3100 for 2 people.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Pretty good!

Tips:
Schwartz's lives up to the hype.
Getting off the island can take a while.
Take water, a cushion (or buy one) and maybe back meds.
Brew pubs, crepes and duck fat fries.

Montreal is awesome.

Yeah, the problem is I don't want to book it until we have a dog-sitter, so every day it gets closer, I expect the prices of everything to rise.

That was a Thur-Mon trip as well (4 nights), and Grandstand 11 in Senna Corner.

Great and exciting overall race. Impeccable racing by Vettel. That's the Seb that we didn't see much of last year.

Unfortunately Ricciardo seemed to have some troubles though...

Great race! I have to lead into this saying that I'm not the biggest Vettel fan, or even a Vettel fan at all, but I am a huge Ferrari fan. So of course it's been Kimi that I've been pulling for this season, but he seems to have been hit with a spate of bad luck recently and was unfortunate to miss out on Q3 so narrowly. I'm glad he finished so well, I know it was 15 or something seconds back of Nicos Mercedes; but going from 11th, dropping to last due to a puncture, and then vaulting himself up to 4th was a big victory in my books. Seeing Vettel take the checkered flag for Ferrari was nice, but as soon as he was on the podium and the German anthem played followed by the Italian anthem; I was reminded of Schumacher. I almost had a feeling, or something, maybe it was getting dusty. I was good to hear those songs back to back and see a German in red on the top step again. I still don't approve of the finger wagging, but the change in Vettel from last season is marked. He may have gained a fan today, he definitely gained my respect. You could see, and almost feel, the emotion and happiness on all the faces of the ragazzi. Forza Ferrari! I know it's early days, but I hope they keep the momentum up.

Can't agree more with Kimi having a great race. Although the pace car helped him out with his puncture, such a jump in positions throughout the race definitely deserves respect.

I also found myself with a nice grin near the end when Vettel was yelling Grazie, grazie, Ferrari is back! Cool moment to see live.

It helped him a bit. Basically just caught him up to the back of everyone else, he still had to make all the moves and play the game.

Cool moment to see live.

Were you there as well?

Sort of meh race for me. Not the best, but not the worst. It would have been great to see those workers get Verstappen's car off the track towards the end of the race so that there would be a one lap sprint to the finish. *How many workers does it take to get a car through a gate?*

On that note, it was an unfortunate ending for Verstappen. He had a pretty good race up until that point.

Disappointing finish for Ricciardo. Hopefully he makes the push towards the top within the next few races.

Yeah seriously. Not all of us can watch it on Sunday, and I already had the Malaysia results ruined for me before I got to watch the race.

Noted. I'll keep my comments within my group messages until a few days after the race.

On another note, maybe don't read the F1 thread until you watch the race?
