Yeah it's more expensive but you may be able to find a deal on one as they are last years model.  I don't have the steering wheel controls but a place like Visions would definitely have what you need or can order it in for you.

If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

This is what I have. It works with iPhone as well.

Yes it works, but it restricted to basics... doesn't give you option that you can use your deck, like you use your phone... In background you can start whatever you want to use of apps from your phone...
I use it for Navigation, my Valentine V1, garage opener, Nest when I'm driving home warm up house... and you can play in background radio station...

Subbed. Let me know what set up you end up going with Kijho. Leaning towards a pioneer deck myself, wanting to finally upgrade my 2012 non-navi. I use an Android phone, so that screen mirroring definitely appeals to me, but I've been using an iPod classic for music.

So from what I've read, we need separate modules to retain SWC, center console USB & AUX, and for video/park brake bypass.

Friend of mine at Futureshop has all the wires/ modules to actually setup everything to work OEM with my steering wheel!
I actually really like this one Kenwood deck... I'd get setup with everything and maybe even a slim (powered) under-seat subwoofer.

You still can use both Android or Apple products, only with Android (unlock software) you get more

Are you looking for a double din? I have a pretty awesome pioneer single din that probably won't be installed in my car,  could give you a good price. Like new too,  I'll take some pics when I get home

This is what I'd go with.

The new Pioneer x700's have a lot more audio tuning capabilities than the previous gen's. Don't even bother with the older ones.

I actually really like that deck, looks like it has everything I'd want too. That website is great, also. Free wiring harness for you car etc and really good price on the unit itself. Futureshop selling it for $479!!

The only crappy thing is this.....
Grand Total Incl' duties & brokerage: $415.63
Approximate Total in Canadian Dollars*:   $530.73

Ouch. Think I'll have to wait a little while until out dollar is a bit better.. LOL.

You might be waiting a while. Lol.

Kinda nice because it forces people to buy in Canada though.

I'm selling a bunch of my stereo gear to guys in the states now... taking advantage of the exchange. You need anything? I have no head units. Just some amps/subs. All JL.

There are Canadian places to buy stuff, too. Still not cheap...

Hey Spencer,

Did you complete your set up?

Was curious if anyone's got insight on these head units (which is the better unit/value?)

Pioneer AppRadio 4 (SPH-DA120)
http://m.bestbuy.ca/defaultpage.aspx?lang=en#/catalog/productdetails.aspx?ajax=true&sku=10327763&lang=en-CA

Vs.

Pioneer AVH-X4700BS
http://www.crutchfield.ca/Pioneer_AVH_X4700BS_DVD_Receiver_p/130x4700bs.htm

Was thinking of going with Crutchfield since they have the free dash kit and wiring harness. They also got 50% off the steering wheel controls module with purchase of head unit.
