94 legacy Turbo EJ22T build advice
« on: February 18, 2015, 11:29:00 pm »
So I wanna go kinda crazy, found a 94 legacy turbo wago With 280k on it, and I know I want to do a manual conversion, but I don't know if it would be better To change the turbo and install an intercooler on the EJ22T, or sell the EJ22T and buy . Wrx motor and manual transmission And swap them in.

How much would a good running EJ22T be worth? I know it's the closed deck block and it's kinda sod after, I'd honestly rather have an EJ205 or and ej20K or something with a 5 speed.

What would be my best option? Cause a wrx 5 speed would be $500 to $1000 on its own, then I was looking at $200 for a TD04, and then intercooler and intake on top of that...

How much do I realistically get for an EJ22T with 280k on it?

I think it would be better just to swap in an ej205. Thats what I had put into my 98 legacy!

So did you get the Legacy???  ???
I noticed that he had a bigger smile stepping out of the Ford than stepping out of your S2k, for whatever that's worth :)
