180sx with a fairlady kit
The 3 is raw. Lighter than more agile. The 6 probably feels like a 747. And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg. So GR's are like the International Space Station.
tradecarview prices are big over the top.
Anyone bring in the 2001 WRX STi from JDMland yet?Was tinkering with the idea, and there's a few Type RAs that have come up.How do they rate compared to the older GC8s and fatter NADM cars?
I have a 2001 STi with 74km on the clock being delivered to Edmonton today. They've went up in price (13-16K) depending on auction grade and KM's. I went with a GDB over a GC8 for the engine/transmission/diffs.... but I still think GC8's look better.
uckfay, Johnny with the back-handed slap. You're clearly the Oracle.
Im currently trying to go the gc route because of power: weight, but I can confirm they're shooting up in price -_-
I’ve been keeping an eye out for one as well and have noticed the same. Sooo I’ve started looking at GDB’s haha.
Please don't steal my future gc from me hahaha
Im currently trying to go the gc route again because of power: weight, but I can confirm they're shooting up in price -_-Id love the 6 speed, but I want to eventually throw one in the gc
Haha well I’m looking for a Version 6 Type R in Steel Blue Mica, so unless you’re looking for the same unicorn, you shouldn’t have anything to worry about.
I wanted to do this, but by the time I got the GC here and swapped a 6 speed it was almost the same price as a GDB, but without the rest of the drive train.
If while searching, you guys come across cool convertibles like e46 M3, or early 2000 Porsche convertibles (manual only) in the $10-15k range, let me know. Depending on price, importing might be a way to get one with quite lower km.
