It can on a tow truck. Also, it's going to attempt to make it to Red Deer for autox (or Ft Macleod).

Nah. uhaul trailer + pull it with the 4runner.

Or a bottle to jam the throttle, as a cruise control.

Why wont the mini make it to Edmonton ? is it really that un-reliable

It's only a 4speed for one, so it doesn't have much top end (but it'll get to 130ish no problem), it shakes quite a bit, but everything looks ok for another, and I'm worried about what 3hours straight of that kind of RPM would do to it.
