I'm mostly unhappy that I haven't purchased a polarizing filter for this lens yet, so to compensate (and because I really suck at composing shots, focusing, and editing), I turned up the vibrancy and saturation.
Also it was cold and grey out, but it was still #topdown.

Man, stay away from portraits until you get a feel for the lens distortion.  #Yowza #Thicc

Haha. That was the point with the wide-angle lens.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Updates:

Rewired the heated seats using an inline fuse and wiring straight into the fuse box. Went to hardwire my dash cam, forgot I cut the inverter out of the line, and it didn't like 12v dc, when it's rated for 5v, so I no longer have a dash cam.

Did the oil/transmission/rear diff fluids... And oil on all the other vehicles too.

Picked up a front sway from Cagare when he returned to stock. I'm excited, but haven't installed it yet. I believe it's the karcepts? Is big.

Also, battery died. Is a motomaster eliminator, at 3.25/4 years into the warranty, so I got that replaced for free under warranty, with 9 months left on the new one. However there was a ton of corrosion and rust underneath it, so I pulled it out, wire brushed it down, rust converted the rest, and spray bombed it all with some Toyota blue that looked similar at Can tire.

I like how you haven't included any pictures of the finished product in either thread haha.
The 3 is raw.  Lighter than more agile.  The 6 probably feels like a 747.  And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg.  So GR's are like the International Space Station.

I didn't take any. I'm notoriously awful at remembering, and usually so covered in dirt, I don't want to touch my phone. I wish I did take some of the batttery tray.

Scored an OEM hardtop off kijiji today with all the hardware. Berlina Silver wrapped in CF.

Nice.  Does the guy still have an S2k, or does he just have a hood/parts?

No hood, just the top. You might be talking about the Seibon one that popped up a few days ago? This isn't it. This is an OEM one wrapped in CF. This guy sold his s2000 to capitalize on the current market prices.

Swapped the spark plugs out. Pretty sure they've never been done. Car is at ~68k right now. Opted to go for some NGK 6988. Double checked they were pre-gapped properly at 0.44". Tried to take more pics for Tperkins.

Wow, blessed.

Car is only at 68k km? and LHD. You are sitting on a nice little golden goose here hah.

Hopefully it lays golden eggs in the shape of an NSX.

Unless prices on the NSX dive in the next few years, it's very unlikely that dream will ever be fulfilled. I told the wife, more than likely it'll be a 911 Turbo that eventually replaces this.
That being said, she's the one who pretty much made the hard top happen. "Anything to keep the S2000."

I'm pretty sure she loves it more than I do.

No no, I thought thing propped up in front of the Fit was an S2k hood.

Ah, never noticed. I rememberly vaguely looking for a second OEM hood, or a CF one, so I could do the vent cutouts. But now I can't afford it.

That is just under what I sold mine for currently. Still not easy to get into an NSX.

Still 4 hours left, and it is currently going to cost the buyer 26,880 USD (35,600 CAD) with auction fees (buyers pay 5% on BaT capped to 5000 USD)

Installed the karcepts sway bar on my lunch break yesterday. Was surprisingly fast, biggest issue was getting the splash guard back on.

Wow, that makes me jealous. Have to drop the subframe on evos to get that rig out. Like, basically dropping your engine out type job haha.

So, car is "parked", but like.. It's super nice out today, and it's still insured.
But last night, I was doing some thinking. I think I'm going to go back to the stock sway bar, and the stock exhaust. I'm tired of the drone, and I'm tired of the creaking. I just want to enjoy the car for what it is, a summer toy. I'm not racing, so by no means do I need a big assay sway bar that creaks when I pull into parking lots/up my drive way.

And as much as I love the dolphin tip on the S2000, I'm tired of the drone, and the headaches I get doing any kind of highway driving. I kept the stock parts for a reason, and I think this is it. Debating keeping the J's for a bit, or just selling it, and going with my original idea of v-banding the stock exhaust so I can straight pipe it and swap back at will.

I'm going to keep the hardtop, but it still needs adjustment apparently. I just need a second body to lift it off the car properly.

I put the stock front back on my car this weekend. For street duty, only thing I notice is the squeak is gone. You won't miss the stiffer bar.

You should also just add an electric cutout to the stock exhaust. itshay's very cash money.

Do you need a car cover for the S2k?   Was cleaning my garage over the weekend and found my old covercraft cover...
They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?
