Oh. For a second, I thought I'd stumbled into one of PD's threads...

Congrats on the new car bud.

Stay tuned Z.

I'm glad it all worked for you Jory!

Congrats man! I miss my s2k so much  :(

Seibon makes a relatively inexpensive CF hardtop if it's something you really care about. The oem soft top mechanism is what actually makes the car 'heavy'.  <--Term used lightly  ;)

I like the concept of the hardtop, but I like that I can put the softtop up/down at will, so I have no issues sticking with it.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

This is kinda where I am at with my car too.  My gripes with the hardtop on my car is that it takes two people to lift it on and off, and that's not always convenient, as well as its pretty bulky to store.
I don't name things I know I'm going to sell eventually. Hence why I'd never name any kids I had.

I want a hardtop on mine when I drive to the mountains (I'm sure you figured out there's a lot of road/wind noise on the highway) but as soon as I get into the mountains: convertible > hardtop. The driving experience in a convertible on some windy roads with good scenery really is hard to beat.

The day I went to pick it up, a low mileage, bone stock, black '91 NSX manual went up for sale in Edmonton. I told myself if I walked away from the S2k, that's what I was gonna get.

Oh man.  Nothing there now.  No pics to look at.  But just reading your description is what I would imagine reading some kinky erotic novel is like.  Hot Dog.

There's only so many '91 NSX's in black here..  I can't find the link to it but it might be a good thing you didn't.
They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

Yeah, it's gone now.

So last night was the first time I drove it since bringing it home from the dealer. I'm more and more in love with this car. It drives perfect, it looks great, it has enough power. Just needs more sound. I'm torn between 3 different options, keeping in mind I'm looking for a dual muffler setup.

Option 1) T1R 70R-EM Sparrow Dual

Option 2) J's Racing 70RS Dual

Option 3) Greddy Spectrum Elite

Option 2 followed by Option 1

Originally, I was adamant about option 1. Then I heard option 2, and it became my new choice. Then I heard option 3, and it became a contender. I think 2 is still my favorite, but 3 looks really good.

I don't have good speakers atm, so aesthetically speaking, the Greddy looks the best.  The T1R's tips are too small in relation to the muffler, and for the J's, cylindrical cans look good but only as a single.  I was never a fan of the pointed down tip, although that seems to be a baller thing for Hondas.

I keep listening to the 3 of these clips.

1 is deeper. Sounds almost like a Subaru with ELH.
3 is very... Honda. It reminds me of my civic hatch.
2 is the best quality clip by far in terms of audio/video. And I think I still like this one the best. It's a little higher pitched, but it just appeals to me.

Not just because I had it but the Greddy EVO 2 single exit was the best sounding exhaust I've heard on NA S2000. I think I have a sound clip (if I find something I'll messenger it to you)

Another option is the Berk header back. But it's rhaspy AF. Here's a clip from Strato. Rip  :'(

Cut the exhaust off with a sawzall. It's SRT legal and sounds like a beast. Also the lightest exhaust you can buy and the shipping cost is relatively inexpensive.

You make good points. Could you show this to me on an E36 M3?
