Replacement undercovers with oil filter access
« on: April 07, 2015, 01:08:32 pm »
Are there any available undercovers that have easy access to the oil filter and don't require removal of the entire undercover to do an oil change? Updated OEM (though dealer is telling me they don't have anything) or otherwise. For a 2008 Impreza 2.5i wagon. Thanks.

You can get an oil filter hole cut into the Primitive Fabrications skid plates. I've owned two and they've been excellent, though I haven't gotten the oil filter hole option.

I know this was a LONG time ago, but I never got the primitive skid plate and I got annoyed with taking the cover off each time to do the oil change, so I just cut a hole in my existing one and made a cover for it. Not a complicated or exciting mod by any stretch, but hopefully it saves me some frustration and time on future oil changes.
