Tips on getting rid of squeaks?
« on: April 30, 2015, 04:02:21 pm »
I've got an annoying squeak/slight rattle in the dash of my car. I believe I've narrowed it down to the compartment holding the radio with my Pioneer head unit.
Seems mostly just plastic is squeaking a bit.

Anyone have any tips/tricks to help get rid of the noise?

Double sided tape for the most part, but honestly, it's part of what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

I remember seeing this a while back:

If it doesn't fit your needs just Google "fix WRX dash rattle" or something similar
