WSC Welcome Splash Page

Just a quick question, but if the Welcome Splash Page isn't being used.. Why have it? 

The last post on that page was updated 25 Apr 14 for SubMit '86 meet.. What is the purpose of that page?

3 or 4 months back, when I was a huge WSC noob (more so than I am now... sort of), I read the featured rides on LDS and Pistachoo and thought it was so cool. And then I saw the date.  :o

We've had more than 1 person claim "ownership" of the main page to keep it up to date with the latest goings on.
But then they leave. Or disappear. Or find lack of interest.

That's fair.. I suppose.. Things change in people's lives.

Only I'd love to see is the Featured Rides continue (harmony I think the oldest)..  And bigger annual meets other than weekly stuff posted.. Cause isn't that what that page was created for???  To inform the non-signed up public of what's going on?..

Please correct me if I'm wrong

I created a thread long ago for people to volunteer / suggest for people to be featured and have a free photoshoot. (I talked with Grant prior and he was okay with the idea and suggested using some previously used questions for the write up).

Nobody really jumped on for it or really pursued it further.. (This was like last year, after 4stair kinda got busy with life and hadn't updated in a while)

Now we're nearing end of season in a few weeks hahaha,
