Topic: Decoding jdm vin number

I tried google last night, I tried finding stuff on here and rs25 but had no luck, but I was curious to know if anyone knows what the jdm vin decodes too?


I bought my car for $1000 with STI fenders, rear spoilers, and engine had red intake, but it didn't have the cluster or rear tail lights, or aluminum control arms

Not sure if the earlier years didn't come with that stuff but would just like to find out, I don't care if it's STI or not cuz I have the spoilers 😂😂😂 but would be good to know for other reasons

I did however find out that both my cars are wrx and 1 wrx v-limited but the engine code shows up under STI v2 any ideas lol
