Dowel pins in exedy flywheel
«

After some wrenching I finally managed to pull my flywheel in order to replace it with an exedy lightweight flywheel.
The stock flywheel has only 2 alignment dowel pins for the pressure plate but the exedy flywheel/pressure plate has 3 holes for dowels.
I had not seen the pins that come with the flywheel so I just extracted the two out of the oem flywheel and put them in the exedy one. This means that I am missing a pin in the exedy flywheel. Should this be of any concern since the oem one only has 2 pins?
Thanks for the input guys!

The stock flywheel has 3 alignment pins for the pressure plate.
You sure the one you're removing is OEM?
Some random googles.

Maybe the flywheel has been replaced before, and the third dowel was lost?
Two should be fine, but you said you had three that came with the new flywheel? Just tap one of those in and you're laughing.

It's off of a 1994 wrx so it may be different.
I figured I'd be fine but I just wanted to make sure and get someone else's opinion, Thanks for the peace of mind!
