Topic: Finally finished the stereo in my s2k!

When I bought it, it already had an aftermarket Sony deck and speakers with a 2ch amp. I knew I wanted a sub, but couldn't nail down where I wanted to put it. A couple weeks ago I found a good deal on a box, picked up the amp and sub at cost from Visions and proceeded to tearing my car apart.

Hertz HCP 4D (tiny foot print and lots of power!)
JL 10TW1 (Hits hard for a shallow mount)

Sounds good and very happy with how clean it looks, almost OEM.

I'd love to see this in person. I know a few people install them into the passenger footwell, but I'm loathe to sacrifice any interior or storage space.

I'll try to make it to a meet before it goes away for the winter. I wanted the footwell sub too because it would give much better bass in the cabin. But the guy who makes them doesn't ship to Canada, and asks $360 USD plus shipping. I got this one for a steal, $180 CAD shipped. Shipping cost the guy $50 USD lol. He's on s2ki, but I found it on ebay.

Thanks! Amps have gotten a lot smaller over the years. I was shocked at how small the amp was for putting out 1160W RMS.

Haha, I needed tires and got the combo for a decent deal. I wanted to go aftermarket, but the AP2V1's are my fav s2k wheel. I'll be plasti dipping them gold over the winter. Looks really good with the tan interior.
