So at our wedding we had 2 tip jars at the bar (it was an open bar) with the locations that we wanted to go to for our delayed honeymoon. The two jars were New Zealand (the wife's choice) or Switzerland (mine). The jar at the end of the night with the most money in it was where we would go on our honeymoon once we had time in our busy lives. After the night ended and the jars were tallyed up NZ won by $2. I recount was demanded! Turned out is was the truth! Guess we were going to NZ at some point. After watching the flights for a few months we finally found a decent seat sale and pulled the trigger.
We took over 5,000 pictures during our 3.5 weeks there so if you want to follow along more closely look over here.
http://theadventuresoftwo.blogspot.ca/Here's some of the best pictures we took though. We camped in our tent for the most part though. Who camps in a tent for their honeymoon in NZ for most of the time in +5*C or less nighttime temps... The guy with the greatest girl in the world! This guy!

The good thing about *cold* weather is that it's deserted.
A short hike into Kaiate falls.
We were usually camping by ourselves in the tenting areas. Good thing we came prepared for camping in spring temperatures though because it was bloody cold even in our Canadian camping gear.
Had to stop in Hobbiton
Another camping ground to ourselves
