Can you find someone else with the GUT lip and make a mould of it or laser-scan it or something?

You wildly underestimate my laziness.

First thing will be a tune.  After that I'll either be sorting aero or wheels and tires.  Both if I have the money.

Not sure what the plan is other then for sure a tune

Just get some Canadian Tire and eBay aero and call it a day.

Wheels/ tires first. Everybody knows that's what will actually make a difference. Get your poseur-aero second.

Unless you're gonna be a man and get some flares so you can put wider tires/wheels on. Then do that first.

Agreed.  Wheels and/or tires first.  The tune next.  I'm guessing that there will not be any fiberglass cutting on this project.

This required a M8x1.5 bolt and a pile of washers.  The shifter console doesnt flex at all anymore.  Worthwhile mod.

Lame question,  but do you remember roughly how long an M8 you needed?

Crikey, that's what she said.

Welp I finally got the Lotus out of storage Friday.  So you can thank yours truly for this ullbayitshay weather.

But glass half full.  I had some actual maintenance to do this year beyond just an oil change.  So far I've changed the gear oil with some redline 75w90 and the engine oil with trusty T6.

Next on the docket is coolant.  Which I'm dreading.  Hopefully my airlift works.

I also have to get off my lazy butt and measure my rotor thickness as I think they are the original 13 year old rotors.   I'll do that tomorrow.  If I do need rotors I guess I have an order to put in with GRP

More likely though if I'm going to go to the trouble of draining the coolant I'm going to replace the itshay upper coolant reservoir as it's a known failure point.  Gotta love old cars

Sorry about the snowstorm

Airlift? And, considering that this thing only sees 100km/yr, your brakes are probably fine.

Measured at 25mm.  So you were right.  1mm left to service limit.

Pretty amazing for 13 year old rotors

Its not like there's much to stop. Its just a fiberglass icecream tub with a celica engine in it held together by posidrive screws.

If you mean experienced at tearing anuses, then yes. Having a torn anus myself, no.

I keep forgetting that Johnny looks like the kind of person who gets a torn anus for sport.

WTF is going on in here.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.
