3m?

Seriously though I wouldnt even do this to the Lotus.

Outside of making fun of you for frog taping the entire front of your car, I really like it.  Very clean

Haha, very nice sti! I don't blame you for wanting to do the whole frog-tape thing. You are not the first person I know who has done that :P

Loos forward to seeing how this build progresses :D

At a glance I thought it was a quick plasti-dip & reversal back to white.

i wouldn't do any power mods if you still have warranty if i were you. but if you can't stop yourself then i suggest you save up some money first for an engine build prior to making any power mods just in case things go bad.

Why coilovers? And why ISC?

I chose ISC coilovers because i had them before never had any problems and for the price perform fairly well, as well as I want to keep them on all year. Plus I eventually was thinking of switching to air ride in the far future.

i agree with your decision. your rolling the dice with stage 2 on 2008+ sti. before you get protuned i highly recommend getting a killer b oil pick up and baffle, oil pressure and afr gauges. spun bearings are a lot more common than ringland failures.

Thanks for the info i will definitely add this to the list as it is fairly cheap and cant really go wrong with it.

Update:
Nov.1 Decided to put on my winters wheels they are 2006 gold sti bbs with studded General Altimax Aritic's 225/45/17 used them last winter on my bugeye and i loved them there is roughly 6500km on tires before i put them on and 38 000km

Also checked all my brake pads and they are a little over 50%
All fluids checked and topped up if needed

I also picked up a front set of Weathertech floor mats and took out they carpet mats for the winter.Weathertech mats fit in perfect and snug. Picked up a Cobb V3 AP off WSC good price. Wanted to get on to monitor a few gauges and the eventual stage 2.
Passenger: Cobb AP mounted:Driver:

If you plan on running low quality coilovers year round i recommend using covers on them to help keep them clean and help prevent rust. Otherwise they will rust up and probably seize up, very common on BC coilovers.

Here is a link to local covers (i used a set on my tarmac 2 coilovers for 1 season and they worked great didnt have to clean the coilovers in the spring)

So I placed a order for the last few components before installing my new downpipe first time ordering from touge tuning I went with Canada post shipping as I'm in no rush. I ordered a cobb heat shield, grimspeed turbo to downpipe gasket, and a grimspeed downpipe to catback gasket.
