Let me know what paint you decide to go with. I am still deciding on mine but I will be doing my blackout and retrofit next weekend.

From my research for the main peice in the lense I'm going to use rust-oleum paint for plastic in satin black. People have used gloss but say it looks really cheap. Then I'm going use a stain glass for the high beam bowls(either yellow or red still haven't decided). And probably just use the black for the blinker as well

After a long busy weekend I finished baking and painting my headlights, installing hella horns, and vinyl wrapping my fog lights yellow. I figure Ill post some pics of the progress and a few finished pics. The passenger head light has a little bit of haze on the outside due to me touching the outside of the lens with some of the black butyl sealant(and rubbing at it to remove it but really just smearing it lol). I just have to pic up a a headlight restoring kit sometime soon. I cleaned up and polished the driver headlight till I ran out of product to do the passenger. Overall the Process wasn't to hard just time consuming. I am happy with how it all turned out.

Looks good. If you want any compound or polish I can lend you some.

You could also borrow or just drop by my place and we can hit up the lens with a DA polisher.

So my OCD got to me and i bought some more cutting polish and finished up the headlight and im in love with how they turned out, although my high beam light output has definitely been reduced. still want  led license plate bulbs and interior lights. Now i just want a front lip, and license plate delete to complete the front end but I think Im going to wait for summer to get a front lip.

hope to get some more daytime pics.

more pics..

Not a huge fan of the highbeam visibility.  Definitely a safety concern if you needed the lights. Definitely get some interior and license LEDs to complete the look.

Update:   I received my package from touge tuning and cant wait to install my downpipe. i should be able to pick up my downpipe from ceramic coating in the next week or so.

that should be hold me over (hopefully) until spring when i get some coils, a front lip, side skirt extensions, and a diffuser.   although im still undecided on what coils to go with. im leaning towards bc br coil overs as i had them before and for the price i loved them.

You got some really good deals!

As for plans regarding the car, I'm going to start saving for when the engine blows up.

well for some reason i cant get the catback bolted up to the down pipe i took the cat back completely off and tried that way. weird. down pipe bolted right up and fits good to. plan is wait until Monday and get a custom mid pipe made up. now the decision is whether to keep a the resonator or to delete that too.

Also noted open catless dp is mega uckfaying loud lol

Mine was really difficult to bolt together, i got longer bolts that were grade 8 and used them and just tightened the isspay outta them and it worked.
Also i put white lithium in the hangers so that they moved around on the catback bit more to pull it backwards to the downpipe.

As for plans regarding the car, I'm going to start saving for when the engine blows up.

Ya I greased up all the hangers so they slid really easy but there is a solid 6 inch gap in between the catback and downpipe. And I know the downpipe came off a 2010 sti hatch too
