I've never played any Fallout games but I have a few friends who are really into it and spend excessive amounts of time playing.
For example:

Those are impressive.

I've played a bit of Robot Fight Club and rather enjoy it.

Can build your own robot from pieces of everything, from sentry bots, Mr Handy, and those cursed assassin bots. They make really good companions if you like loot, the current carry weight I have is sitting around 420 carry, compared to Strong, who is 300.

As excited as I am for the DLC, I'm looking forward to the Survival mode overhaul even more.

Weaksauce!! My carry weight in power armor is 570 or something, and I only have 6 STR I think. But I'm a lone wanderer, so I don't really roll with a companion.

I might check it out and see how she goes then. Seems kinda fun.

I played through the majority of the dlc in one sitting on very hard... was kind of disappointed by the length of it, but still having fun making robots. Codsworths modifications are so fun  ;D

A cyborg killed your wife, and you likely killed your son. Wait... are YOU the synth? Nothing worse than a anti-synthite synth.

So, whats the opinion on the new survival mode? I like it so far (other than having to stash massive piles of ammunition when you first load a character after the patch)

I played for a few hours last night, and it's definitely made the game really fun again. Not being able to quicksave and only being able to carry a fraction of what I could definitely makes for an interesting adventure.
Unfortunately I have sanctuary stocked with all my stuff so it makes adventuring slightly difficult, but that's really the fun of it. Having a badass version of codsworth with me definitely helps, and I had started cooking my meats and everything a while ago, so I'm pretty well stocked.
Once I get into the swing of things I'm gonna start a 4th character to play only in survival. Stoked to see how my melee only character does with it too!  ;D
