Australia.. what to do?
« on: December 19, 2015, 09:04:12 pm »
My cousin's getting married this March in Melbourne.. we've decided to go.  Neither of us has been, so it should be fun.  It'll be me, wifey, and our 21 month old daughter.  Flying in directly to Melbourne.

Looking to stay 1-2 weeks, depending on how daughter deals with the changes.  Staying at Airbnb is an option, not sure yet.  Might make a side trip to Sydney.

What's there to do, sightsee, general touristy stuff?  And good eats?

They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

Find a snake. Poke it with a stick.

Great times were had by all!
I may scream like a dainty lady, but I punch like a fairly strong 11-year-old.

When I was there we were North of Sydney on the Sunshine coast so not much help in Melbourne.
Byron Bay and Noosa stick out as highlights from what I remember.

Being a 13 year old boy though, the topless beaches (seemed like all of them) were worth checking out.

If you venture into Sydney; Bondi beach was great, and of course the Opera house and Sydney harbor bridge.

Another highlight was deep sea fishing and catching sharks.

Man I looked like a dork.
