Thanks :)

I used the stuff you can buy at Canadian Tire. I never noticed a difference.

Gasoline is a great solvent. "Top Tier" companies add some extra goodies to their gasoline to improve it's cleaning abilities.

So just run lots of gas through your fuel system on a regular basis, it will keep everything as clean as can be.

Redline fuel injector cleaner, and an hour highway run in 4th gear.

Cause it's "redline" fuel cleaner. You need to be at redline.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

So, please forgive me if I've missed that this is meant sarcastically or a case of 'pulling my leg'!
BUT
Anyone stupid enough to run their vehicle/engine at redline for an hour just to clean their injectors deserves everything that's coming to them!

And the fact that Tik-Tok said he is going to sit in 4th gear on the highway for an hour is also 'very suspect'.
If the thought process is you want your injectors to be fully open for an hour for your cleaner to work, I'd suggest buying a different cleaner!

If however this is just banter, being stupid or whatever else, just ignore the stupid Limey and carry on with your day  ;D

Oh, and could you add sarcastic smileys after the sarcasm  :sarcasm:

 ;D

It's probably great on the butt dyno if you really believe it works. But probably no actual benefit. If your concern is dirty injectors, get it cleaned properly as previously recommended. If all you're doing is because some guy on Internet said it's cool to, or your buddy said it's super duper awesome sauce on his Honda, then don't bother.

Doesn't actually do much. Maybe a small octane change. But not much other than that

I don't mean any disrespect with the Internet, and buddy comments. It's simply one of those take with grain of salt comparisons.

The honest fact of the matter - engines run like a bag of itshay on anything heavy duty enough to clean clogged injectors. And mixing it with a couple litres of fuel will make it too dilute to do anything worthwhile.
