My set up is with the KYB AGX struts (02-03 WRX) with V9 STi springs. From what I read, my set up should result in an approximate 2.5” drop in the front and 2.75” drop in the rear.
I took a quick measurement this afternoon and from centre wheel cap to wheel well I'm currently at 14.5" front and 14" rear with 3/8" saggy butt spacers.

Not sure if this is of any help but this dude has a thread on dropping his SF5 - http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f115/mikeys-forester-sti-build-version-2-0-a-83638/index14.html#post1023902

Yeah it does. Oh well, found a guy selling 04 STi top hats somewhat locally. So I'll make a trip to pick them up sometime. Helpful hint for others looking at this thread later, the SF's have metal covers over the rear tops inside the trunk. I'll be using those to ensure they match up before buying the new rear top hats.

Keep in mind you can't interchange 02-03 springs with 04-07 top hats, they don't match. I'm thinking the same scenario holds true for GC struts. Here's a great reference on NASIOC with all the years / models covered. BTW, if you want to go with an STI setup we have several sets of Ver7 and Ver8 STI struts/springs ready to go.

"Springs designed for 04+ Impreza will fit on your 02-03 Impreza struts or 02-03 aftermarket struts, but you must use 04+ rear strut top mounts and the Scooby921 strut spacer. Details on why the spacer is needed available here:

This is the only pic I have here at work of my Fozzy with WRX wagon suspension: OEM shocks + Tein springs, 17" wheels with 235/45/17 tires.
(Sorry if it's too dark, I will upload a brighter pic when I get home)
