Still has a flat engine so we are not off topic here. Look into something like this before going too deep with an EJ engine build.

Sweet ! Pm'd.

Jk I wish... There is a video of the car on what appears to be Daytona. It makes IMSA and open wheel cars look slow. And the sound when it's on the banking ...

Lancia Delta integrale HF 16v? Most are in extremely good shape and well taken care of, true collector items. This car is in good shape but needs an update, I think he reflects it in the price.

Just did a quick look of the Jap auctions from the past 2 - 3 months and almost all are grade 4, a couple 3.5s but had like 250K on the odo.

follow up on the sale - just in case anyone is curious. Sold for $33k US on BAT.

Anyone know anything about this:

https://www.kijiji.ca/v-cars-trucks/red-deer/subaru-forester-sti/1417113529?utm_source=com.google.android.apps.docs&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_android

I've been talking to him about it since he first put it up for sale.
He took it in to AFR(?) last night and they advised him that he was selling it too cheap, hence it's now up at a higher price.

What are you wanting to know?
I noticed that he had a bigger smile stepping out of the Ford than stepping out of your S2k, for whatever that's worth :)

I was just curious why he was asking $10k, because it seemed like a really good price. I thought it might have been rougher than pictures would suggest, since it looks like a pretty sweet build. Although indeed I see the price is now up to $13,500.

Strong interest is expressed by tight pants.

ANyone know anything about these things?
Apparently timing chain, and overall very low problem rates?

I've had a bunch of friends with Troopers. They're seriously underrated little mules.

Look out for sunroof leaks and I had one friend who had chronic tail light failures but I think that was because one of the previous owners uckfayed with the stereo.

Listed as WRX but is an STI by description, seen pictures of it before. Might be gone but who knows this listing remains and has been here for a while. It had red rally armour and engine bay looked stock. Could be good catch if it is for such low KMs.

I would think private sale would be around the same price or more, mind you no tax etc. Thought a saw a 13 STi the other day on kijiji with around the same km for $30k.

Yeah, Kms are so low I think private would be about the same.
Around 100K still puts you in mid to low $20K range. It is a fair price.

To me, that ad screams "Book an appointment with us to see it, a couple hours before we'll contact you to tell you that it's sold, a few hours later we'll tell you that it's back on the lot, and then when you come in we'll tell you that it sold but you should check out our other cars"

Not sure what the market is like these days but my 2013 WRX was stickered at $29.5k @ 65,000KMs 3 years ago (purchased March 4, 2016). That one is (relatively) older by 3 years but lower KM and STi.
