Finally installed my shift/e-brake boot and new shift knob
« on: March 10, 2016, 11:33:28 PM »
Two Christmas' ago I got a blue swede shift boot and e-brake boot to match my Spec B seats. They sat in my closet as I was waiting to find a shift knob I wanted. Thankfully 09_sti saw my wanted thread, and mailed me a black/blue Cobb shift knob. Got it today and figured I might as well enjoy it for the month until the car is parked for the summer lol.

The boots came from Red Line accessories. Fit was really good, as was quality. My DSLR is at the gfs, but here's some cell picks for the time being:

All cleaned up:

I was concerned about the different shades of blue since my seats are 9 years old, but it's not bad in person. Very happy with how it turned out. This was the only thing I'll likely do with the interior, so it's now complete.

They look good! Maybe they will come even closer to matching as time goes on.

I really like the knob! How ia the weight compared to oem?

That's what I'm thinking, as time goes on the colour match should get better.

It's very close. It was deceiving, when I took it out of the box, I thought it was small but it's nearly the same size and weight. This colour was discontinues by Cobb, so it took some time to find it. Really like it though!
