Apple/Android Games
« on: March 21, 2016, 07:42:58 pm »
Any good games out there?  Free or paid.

My favs on the Apple are FFIIV and Secret of Mana.  I spend a lot of time on CoC, and Real Racing 3, but I'm getting bored of these.

I never play games on my [android] phone :(  But there is a nice SNES emulator that I occasionally go on.

Fallout Shelter and Bloon TD5.

Both I have spent far too much time playing, easy to open, play for a brief spell, or hours.

Yeah, my CoC clan has gone stagnant. It's hard to leave them because we've built it to a pretty high level. I could also just quit, but maaan, so much time invested...

You can fight dinosaurs in JW now? I quit playing that after they intro'd the water stuff.

Got a couple accounts on CoC and Boom Beach that I cycle through. Mostly just passively collecting resources but have been attacking a little more often lately. New updates give a little motivation to play more.

Merged! is frustrating but addictive.

Yeah! They have a turn based fighting game built into it now, you can fight your dinos with other peoples, they have tournaments, various events for new dinos etc...
It's actually pretty addicting... and I think I've broken it as I've always got 20+ million food/coins at all times now...  ;D

Loved snowboard party 2, best boarding game in a long time.

As for Bloonz, played it a lot time ago. Is the new one worth $4?

I haven't touched coc for a good month now as I've been trying Royale.

First impressions were very good. Pretty fun and easy learning curve. But at level 6 and 7, it's totally p2w.  :(

That snowboarding game sounds cool, I missed that post. I'll check it out

I got sucked in to playing royale by a guy I work with. It's fun but yeah, I get my assay handed to me more often than not by way too powerful opponents. Probably won't play for long.

Yup, that and the same cookie cutter tactic.  Freeze, Hog, Defense.

I am still playing CoC, lvl 138. I am also playing Star Wars Uprising, it's free and pretty fun.

Just tried Astronest this weekend.  I'm enjoying it more than I thought I would.  It's your typical sci-fi two sided scenario, that's kind of card based, kind of strategy based.  It's simple enough, but there are a lot of nooks and crannies within the game that make it a little overwhelming for a noob.  The tips aren't that helpful.

Anyway, I'm having fun with it.  :P  Let me invite you via fb if you're going to try it so we get mutual benefits!  :D

Oh, to add to this I was drawn to it because it advertises itself as a game where you don't have to pay to win.

That's a laugh.  I can totally see it as pay to win at higher levels.

Started Crusader Quest.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

Whintersan introduced me to it, and it's proceeded to ruin my life.
