I haven't been this excited about an FF game, since 10 was announced.

Until I saw the battle system. I might still give it a shot.

Game, Demo, 5 part anime, and a full length CG movie.

That video was cool. I gave up on the FF franchise however.

Why was that giant guy so angry?  Did he squash his brother on his shoulder?

The whole FF series is a crapshoot to me, I loved 7, 9 and 10, couldn't get into 1, 4 or 6, and I only briefly flirted with 13 but it didn't grab me right away, I'd have to try it again.

I'll wait till the reviews for 15.

Are the ones not mentioned ones you haven't tried?  Or ones you don't have strong feelings for?  I couldn't get into 8, but I loved 3.

I've Played FF1, 4, 6, 7, 9, 10, and 13 (briefly)

1 is... well its old school, I knew what I was getting into, 13 I literally played an hour and it didn't grab me right away.  The others I either loved or hated.

I'm like that with most JRPG's, there's some Tales and Star Ocean games I love, and others I hate with the fury of a thousand suns.

You should try 3!  Although there is one point in the game where one of the characters needs to do a down left up swoop in a battle, and emulators have a hard time with it.

Yeah 3 is the only game where I don't have a system to play it on.

I've deliberately not followed any information about this game.

I don't know why I'm excited for it.
