The clutch is really light, and smooth. Shifting is also smooth and fairly short, not as notchy as the STI. Low end power is almost instant and revs climb quickly with no lag like the STI. Might be similar to the new WRX but I haven't driven one. Haven't really driven too hard with the car yet. just a few quick accelerations.

Those lights make such a huge difference for the look of the car. I'm really not sure why they didn't come equipped with them from the factory.

If I had to change my daily right now this, in either Blue or Black, would definitely be at the top of my list. It's really the only thing that ticks all the boxes at a reasonable price.

Ew, so not even LEDs!? I would HAVE saved up and spent on the even the cheaper non tinted version xD

Nope, they're the ones on every golf, incandescent and boring. Euro ones have different ones for the GTI and the R, the R come tinted and the GTI is Cherry Red

The R comes with them locked, so we can't open them. We have to unlock it ourselves

Yeah i'm not sure why, most cars have them with no issues, but at least it was an easy fix but highly unnecessary for sure.
