Topic: Horrendous noise from front end

Hi All,

I have a 2000 GT wagon and a horrendous noise is coming from the front end. It's happening when I turn both ways as shown in the video, but only at lower speeds (60 kph and slower). I can't hear it when I'm on the freeway. My first thought is CV joints, but it doesn't sound like any bad CV joint I've heard before. Anybody heard this or have a different opinion of what it could be? Any way to check these while they're still in the car? Besides torn boots of course.

You already look in the wheel wells for dangly bits, or signs of something rubbing on the tires?

Yikes. That sounds awful (and looks like distracted driving )

Check CV boots. Maybe your fender liner is borked and somehow rubbing. Check over everything as well as you can.

Got underneath it... The play actually appears to be fron the center diff, but I could be wrong.
