Wales all the way!  Who can resist cheering for the underdog??  Wales-Iceland final would have been epic.

hmmm Iceland? they lost Sunday...

You have Portugal - Wales today, and Germany - France playing tomorrow.

I think he was saying how cool it would have been if Iceland had beaten France and then Germany to make it to the finals.

Yes, that is what I was saying.  I realize Iceland is out...and now Wales is too  :(

Portugal....finish 3rd in groups and avoid the "big boys", somehow manages to still get into the finals. Watch them take France/Germany to penalties and win by 1.

Yes it was. It would suck for Portugal to take it when their effort has been subpar this entire tournament.

Exactly. They got fairly lucky.

I'm with you on this. Germany has yet to really impress me as well.

And you can never discredit the home field advantage

I think France will take it as well, though I'll still be rooting for Germany. Though I hope France gets knocked out so United can move on with their negotiations with Pogba (most likely getting way too optimistic right now though).

Damn that was rough to watch. Germany couldn't convert at all. Ah well more or less neutral now for the final other than hoping Ronaldo plays well.

What a game, I ended up wanting Portugal to win for the laughs (hoping for a 5-4 in penalties)  ;D

I can't say it was the most excited game since both play fairly defensive and "safe". Last 20+ mins were good and I'm also glad for Portugal.

I was pretty much in the same train of thought. Thought it was going to penalties for sure. Then minute 109 happened.
