Via Rail $150 Youth Pass for the month of July
« on: March 28, 2017, 11:42:09 pm »
Don't think I've ever taken one of these trains, but the deal seems pretty sweet, $150 for unlimited trips in July across Canada. For those between the age of 12 - 25

http://www.viarail.ca/en/150-pass

I wonder how busy/crowded it'll be, and if it's feasible to do a cross-Canada trip for funsies

Was literally just reading the article on this ;D If I didn't have work and such I'd definitely do it and go somewhere I've never been. I don't know if it goes all the way to Quebec and Newfoundland? That's where I'd go if I could. As far as possible haha..

TFW a youth pass goes to 25.
TFW you're still too old.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

TFW you first google what "TFW" stands for. Then commiserate on being too old.

I want to ride the train! :(

I'm worried if the tickets will all be sold out or something. It would be worth it to just go to one place like Quebec or somewhere in the Maritimes, maybe go when it's the Stampede so everyone's coming into Alberta :D

Well it is temporarily unavailable...
If you want to go out east and have some time (not sure how long it would take to get there and back), this would be a great opportunity. I have enjoyed the time I spent out that way.
