i suspect that if you make that car too stiff itll make it handle way worse especially for our itshay roads.  i wanna say stock suspension (just newish or close to stock) with bigger sways?  but not too big.
I have some gently blown worn NA8 stock suspension in my basement. Bring cash.

Okay so a few things to note

Received my exhaust yesterday, damn this thing is actually really nice quality. Pictures will come soon.
Received my GV replica lip from Bayson R, should look pretty decent.
Picking up a brand new set of KYB AGX Shocks with some Tein S-Tech springs tonight for a steal.. ill reveal when I pick everything up.

So heres where the plans have changed.
If all works out, I will be picking up a parts car tomorrow, so the car over winter will take a pretty massive turn..
Doing so will save me a really good chunk of $$$

I'm like a kid on Christmas, cant wait to get everything organized and put together, will update when I get everything sorted out.
Anybody want to help strip a car with me?  >:D

And come spring the car will be done, and up for sale. RIP Miata.

I keed.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Ok so I ended up picking up a brand new in box set of

KYB AGX Adjustable Shocks
Front: 741015
Rear: 741016

Tein S.Tech Lowering Springs
Front: 235lb/in
Rear: 168lb/in

Then I managed to bolt up the exhaust in under 20 minutes..
First impressions..

I LOVE IT!
Super low tone, no rasp and it just sounds so right. Not overly loud, just a nice deep tone added behind you.. super happy.
Fitment was great, old exhaust was in awesome shape so it just came off without any hesitation.

Well this long weekend was an extremely eventful one to say the least.

I ended up going to look at the parts car, done deal I want it.. now to drive it home.

"Drive it home" famous last words..

5 minutes into the drive, the diff seems to have exploded on me.
I talked to the seller and he cut me back some cash which was decent, and I got the car towed home. Oh well  >:D

Whats better than 1 miata, two miatas!

So the parts car has/had the following:

OEM Hardtop (Matte Black)
Megasquirt MS2
Unknown Larger Injectors
Rebuilt Motor (168,163,165,170 Compression Test)
KYB AGX Shocks with (cant remember) Lowering Springs (not coils  >:( )
Turbo kit (FMIC, Turbo, BOV, EWG, Downpipe, Intake) I think ebay, but major components will assist my build
Solid Motor Mounts
AEM FPR
Glowshift Gauges (Fuel Pressure / Air Fuel / Boost w/ A-Piller Pod)
XXR 522 (16x8 +0) Wheels & Tires
Roll Bar
Carbon Miata Duck Bill Trunk

Overall the car is in decent shape, lots of useful parts for me.
I begin stripping some things off and making stuff work.

So I swapped the wheels over, rolled the fenders and installed my lip so far.
Also ended up swapping over the TPS from the parts car, trying to diagnose my hesitation/stumble issue
Seems to have helped quite a bit. Also did the spark plugs, old ones were ugly.

Also tried out sleepy eye.. not sure if I like it or not.

Day 1 to Today.

Also tried out sleepy eye.. not sure if I like it or not.

Personally if you're looking at modifying the headlights I would either to half height housings

Or flushmounts

I've never really been a fan of the whole "sleepy eye" look.

I like both the half height or sleepy eyes.

I like LED headlights.
This is the correct answer. Even RockAuto sells some dope lifetime-warranty PAR56 LEDs.

Then you can go even more nuts with LEDs.

After all the headaches I've had with my morimoto and diode dynamics LED's I don't think I can recommend aftermarket LED's anymore until the manufacturers get their itshay together. Something home made like in that video would be an exception.

I meant the aftermarket LED truck lamps, not the little LED bulbs you can buy.

Yeah, that's what I meant too. The Peterson 701C ($223.31 on RockAuto! prices coming down..) is the same thing.

Thanks for the shot Spencer! Damn.. I didn't think it would look so good so quick.

Personally if you're looking at modifying the headlights I would either to half height housings

Or flushmounts

I've never really been a fan of the whole "sleepy eye" look.
I'm thinking of finding some headlights off an old truck or something and trying to modify something to fit.
We'll see how things go, I didn't like the look of the sleepy eye with improper headlights.
