Let me know if you plan on selling the Nameless axleback  ;)

It begins.

Will do, soon as I find a replacement for it I'll be pulling it up for sale.

Sounds good. And no need to put it up for sale, I'll buy it ;D

With the weather being crappy out the last 2 days, decided I should install some of the random little cosmetic pieces I had laying around.
Also installed a set of Endless SSY brake pads I picked up from 10SecDream.

I'm happy with how everything turned out. I'll have to grab some better photos once the car is a bit cleaner but these will do for now.

Started on a few interior pieces.
Redline shift boot with red stitching as well as GCS Paddle shifter extensions.

Next was a few little decals.

Up next was the brake pads, decided to paint the calipers and throw on some Subaru decals at the same time.
Also pick up some tire lettering as well.

Ooh, the baller carbon flappy paddles~

Redline is good stuff.  A great alternative to the much more expensive JPM Coachworks.

Nice update!

Yup gottalove the fake carbon fiber, though to be honest it doesnt bother me as much as thought they would.
Theyll still end up probly getting wrap in black to match the rest of the dash peices though.

:O

Why not sell them and buy a black set for a fraction of the price?

Bought these ones on sale. Paid less then $25 for them, doubt I'd be able to find set cheaper.

Postman dropped of a new toy yesterday  ;D
Excuse the crappy cellphone pics.

Going off the reviews on forums online and talking to a couple people I wasn't expecting a drastic change, mostly just a little less rev hang and maybe a little more power in the higher RPM's.
I gotta say though it felt like quite a drastic change to me, everything just feels better, seems to have more power at all rpm's, the shifts feel a lot crisper and and the throttle is much more responsive.
The shifting is where I noticed the largest change, I'm guessing the fact that I have the CVT  may play into this factor a bit.

Overall super happy with the change!

Small Update

Picked up a Mishimoto charge pipe awhile back, just got around to installing about 2 weeks ago.

Few other parts on order, Torque Solutions EGR and TGV deletes and Grimmspeed EBCS should be here by mid next week.
I'd like to stock pile a few more parts over the winter, then install everything at once in the spring before its Tuned.

Looks great dude! Keep us updated on the rest of the installs and once you get it pro-tuned.

Sorry for my lack of knowledge;  Are you running the charge pipe as it is? OTS tune? Cobb? It's safe to run as such without a pro-tune in it's current status right? You'd do the pro-tune after the TGV/ EGR's?

:)

Thanks man! Yeah cleans it up quite a bit, a few of them aren't holding up very well though. Need to repaint them.

Currently Running on Cobb OTS 91 map. Mishimoto states that it is safe to run without pro-tune. I was a bit hesitant at first but all the data seems to be fine so far and the logs look pretty much the same as before install. Don't think there is really benefit to it though without the pro-tune.

Plan is to do the tune after the EGR and and TGV deltes, EBCS, Lightweight crank pulley are installed.
Hoping to pick up either the Grimmspeed top mount inter cooler or Process West top mount by then as well.

What's the difference between the OEM and aftermarket charge pipe? Diameter?
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Slightly larger diameter and more natural bends with less restrictive points.
Here is a comparison between stock and the Perrin charge pipe

Ah, I can see why you wouldn't really need a tune for that then.

Did you buy the pitch stop mount as well to prevent it from tearing out of the firewall?

Only reason I haven't upgraded the pitch stop is I need to spend the dollars on the mount as well.

Looked at getting it but felt it was way over priced. Plan on stealing my brother in-laws shop come spring and custom making one instead.
