My Summer Car, or Sim Safety Switch
« on: October 25, 2016, 07:39:21 am »
Ever wondered what my Finnish 1990s counterpart would be doing about now?

I just threw a few hours at this last night and almost have my engine put together.

It's on Steam Greenlight right now, put it in your app hole.

Very interesting. How much technical knowledge did you need to actually build the engine? It looks like a pretty cool concept if it grows to the point where you could pick from many models, do your own swaps, etc. A thought that comes to mind would be to build a 93 Civic hatch with a B18C5 as example.

I think the deliberate point is to simulate one very ittshay Soviet FWD.

You don't need a lot of knowledge, just keep plugging pieces together until it works. Then search for a wrench of the right size. Then once you get it running, adjust the carb and valves and make sure there's fuel in it...

How do you put fuel in? I only see a key to urinate.

You have to grab the jerry can and fill it up, but make sure that you have the fuel tank and lines in first.

I realized now that I've finished the Saabaru, I can actually play this.

I attached the spindle to the car, but it'd fall out when i tried to attach the shock. Turns out I needed a wrench, unfortunately I couldn't get the tool kit open.
I was getting hungry so I drove into town to get supplies. By the time I got to town the store was closed so I couldn't buy anything or gas up my van.

Sauntered into the bar and got some what looked to be poutine to satiate my hunger. Didn't buy beer though, uckfaying bars are a rip off and I still had plenty left in the van.
Played some VLT for a bit, came out only down a bit.

It was getting dark so I figured I'd head home, after flipping off the greasy guy at the inspection shop. What do they know anyway?

So I'm going about a buck, maybe buckten, on this narrow assay gravel road. Really feeling like a rally hero. Then my van catches a rut and head-ons into a tree and I die.

This might be one of the best games.

So, I was trying to get to town, as one does. After too many hours of trying to get there, I have tried:

- Van on the roads, rolled x4, death by tree x3.
- Tractor on the roads, rolled x3.
- Sewage truck on the road with trailer, rolled x1
- Boating x2, died of a heart attack hand bombing all the beer to the boat.
- Van around the lake, drown x3 times, died by trees x2.
- Hooked the van up to the tractor and tried to tow it...

That only worked once.

Then tried the van around the lake again, and *finally* made it, loaded up all of the beer and bought all of the food, threw it into the van, and died on the way home. BUT was able to  rescue the van.

My level of care is sitting around uckfay it.

It's a great game.

Use the boat and try not to burst the bag you get from the grocery store.
