It's been a long day, okay?
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

Lemme get this straight. You want to learn programming, which sucks, to play a very difficult NES game that frustrates you to no end?!

I highly approve. uckfay, I'm going to go dig out my NDSLite and play some Contra4.

At the workshop I mentor at they use the Raspberry Pi's,  and I have seen them around but never played with them. Fortunately they dont use the Raspberry Pi 2 anymore so I got given one for free.

First step will be to familiarize myself with it before putting the carputer in the BMW.  The carputer seems pretty involved and I'd like to be familiar with things first.  Realistically though,  I see a use for a raspberry pi in many items.

So what's the craziest projects accomplished here on WSC?

Over a year later I have started the journey to learning Raspberry pi.  Bumping this up to see what projects you all may be working on.

Both of mine are sitting in storage. Thinking of building a pi-hole.

I helped a buddy put together a digital picture frame with his. One of these days we'll get it working so you can Airdrop new photos to it from your phone, but right now it pulls from a Flickr group.

Eventually I want to build a floppy disk copier/writer (to be like a cheaper Catweasel) but it looks like a pain to do hard realtime on one of these vs. a beaglebone black. I might end up doing something with a common floppy controller chip like the Catweasel does, but this also already sounds like too much work.

So after... however long. I've re-purposed mine. One isn't doing anything right now, and the other is running triple duty. It's running my Unifi Controller, my Pi-hole, and my OpenVPN server.
