ADF Lift Kits - Saggy Butt
« on: March 16, 2017, 02:10:16 pm »
I am planning on ordering an ADF 2" lift kit with trailing arm spacers but I am unsure on what size I should get on the rear.

With the kit you get 2" front spacers and your choice between 2, 2 1/2, 2 3/8 and 3" rear spacers. Now I don't know which size I should get for the rear.

I was thinking of going with the 2 3/8, 2 1/2 or 3 for when I have my hatch full of camping gear and what not but then when I am driving around the city normally I will have some rake which I am not too fond of.

What do you guys think? Go with the 2 in the rear and possibly have some sag when loaded up or go with 2 1/2, 2 3/8 or 3 and have a slight rake when city driving?

I'm definitely no expert, but when I was looking into this for my fozzy it seemed as though the 2 3/8" kit is the way to go to keep it level. I don't imagine the rake would be all that noticeable with the 3" though, especially if you tend to have things in it most of the time.

I have 1" spacers in the rear of mine, and it sits dead even with identical wheel well gap (to the naked eye, nothing in the trunk).

I'm actually a fan of a little bit of rake, but I bet the 1" difference in your front/rear wouldn't be very exaggerated.
