Forester rear trunk decal
« on: April 11, 2017, 11:23:55 am »
Good morning,

I accidentally ripped the rear trunk decal off of my JDM forester. It was a long subaru badger that covered from one side to the other. Now there is just sticky tape in its place. I cannot find it anywhere

Does anyone have any ideas what to put over this and make my trunk less ugly again?

Jon

If it's the long red reflector badge that says forester, i'd leave it on. Those things are rare ahaha.

How'd you accidentally rip the trunk decal? You could fill it with bondo or weld in new metal and sand it down, tons of info online.

As for the left over sticky tape, WD40 works.

Yeah exactly that long red reflector. it would be amazing if i could find one.

i was at the car wash and there was dirt behind it. i pulled on it a bit and snapped it.

theres paint chipped on the back too. i was wondering either grind it down and rattle can it or wrap it with vinyl or something. i dont particularly want to throw much money at it

i appreciate the response though

They do pop up once in a while, some people don't like it so you can buy it off someone or eBay.

I just a heat gun and goo gone on decals and the stick sh*t they leave. i would stick to a paint pen for the chip(s), rattle can is a pain.

Cheers,

I got a wheel eraser that takes the glue off if you still need it
