Cobb APv1 stolen, how to tell if they unmarried it?
« on: June 25, 2017, 10:22:15 pm »
Some @$$h@t broke into my 04 WRX while I was gone on vacay and stole my APv1, my Vag-Com cable, and my ELM327 Bluetooth reader....I had not yet unmarried the AP, was planning on converting to open-source in the near future. Does anyone here know if they could use a Vag-Com and ECU Explorer to tell if the APv1 was unmarried by the thief? >:(

Chances of the thief knowing what the Accessport V1 module is used for, is next to zero.  If you are worried about the ECU being locked by the AP, don't, because it isn't.  You can overwrite the ECU content with Ecuflash.

Gain 50 ft-lbs, ask me how! :-)
