Hello from Vancouver
« on: August 27, 2017, 11:09:02 am »
Hey everyone.   Can't believe it took me this long to join.
This is my 4th Subaru and this time it's a 2018 STI.  I
started driving VW's and finally was able to afford Subaru's
many years later.   This is my first STI, previously had a WRX.
If you ever see a black STi in Vancouver and some crazy guy
giving you the peace sign that'll be me.

Hope to see you guys around.

Welcome! Any plans for the car or will you be keeping it relatively stock for the time being?

I think i'll probably keep it stock for awhile.  I came from always modding my cars in the past and don't have the time like I used too.  That being said I do love this car and I'll always have that "what if" scenario.   ;)

Welcome to the forums and congrats on the car.

Subaru's are a hard car to keep stock but I fully support your endeavour to do so.  Keep that warranty/resale value!

Got the Winter Wheels going a little early but thought I'd share.

In Vancouver? Do you travel to Whistler or the Interior often, or are you just one of the select few who actually have winter tires in Vancouver after seeing last years fiasco.

I go to Whistler at least once a month.  Grew up in Onterible so i'm used to snow but car  only has summers on it so  im not risking it.  Plus i head up to the local mountains all the time.
