New springs for 2011 Impreza wagon
« on: September 03, 2017, 09:33:01 am »
Hey,

I'm looking for new springs for my Impreza to go with KYB replacement struts. My goals are to keep the ride height close to stock, level up the wheel gap (currently sitting lower in the back), improve handling stability, and remain comfortable as a daily driver.

 My current mods are:
17" Enkei wheels with 225/45 BFG g-force comp 2 tires
20mm STi Rear Sway bar & bushings
Kartboy rear Endlinks
Stoptech Brake Pads and Rotors
Whiteline FSB bushings
Perrin Front Endlinks
Perrin rear subframe lock down bushings

I'm considering RCE blacks, paired with 1/2" rear spacers, and probably replacing the strut mounts too since I'll be removing them anyways. I've also looked at King Springs and Swift Sport springs. Initially I was hoping for Koni yellows instead of KYB struts but the price is more than I can afford right now. I'd like to hear your thoughts and recommendations. Thanks.

Also, if you've got a fav vendor, I'm still trying to figure out a good reliable source for this stuff.

Chad

I think the RCE springs will be too much for the KYB struts.
