Bought a seasons pass to mount washington along with a snowboard compatable roof rack and some meaty winter tires for the new subaru! I usually dread the 3+ hour drive up to the mountain but am quite looking forward to driving the wrx so much this winter.
Roof rack should arrive here thursday and winters are awaiting getting mounted on rims I have also just purchased.

Mt Cain or gtfo. But seriously if you go further up island let me know.

Never been, try to stay away from longer trips like that because driving anywhere more than 3-4 hours after a good day of boarding gets a little risky haha.

That drive is brutal after a day of skiing - especially if you're in wet heavy snow which isn't uncommon for Washington

Back country mt wash powder is my specialty so long wet drives back to victoria is definatly a bummer especially if your tired (a change of clothes is key)

Just a heads up guys, the mountain collective card is now 489CDN, so 2 passes to Louise, Sunshine and Revelstoke!
Worth every penny, as you get 50% off regular season passes after you've used up your 2.

I went a few years ago to Valhalla Powdercats (right between Nelson and Castlegar). Same pricing essentially, ~ $500/day. Would I do it again? Absolutely.

I feel I must be reading this wrong!? Does this card give you 2 lift passes for Sunshine, Lake Louise, and Revy, plus 50% off lift passes after your second time?

Has anyone had that card in the past? Does it have a direct-to-lift option where you can link a card to your CC and skip going into the lodge to get a lift ticket each day?

Answer to my own question:

"While you are picking up your picture pass for the Mountain Collective pass you will also have the option to set up an RFID card. The RFID card contains the passholder's name, date of birth, what type of pass or ticket they are eligible for or have purchased. And, the RFID card is especially useful in terms of the Mountain Collective pass because, after you use your two days of skiing at a destination, you can use your RFID card with a loaded credit card to access the 50% off single day lift ticket without having to go to the ticket window to get a new ticket for the day.*

*This applies to all resorts excluding the Mammoth Resorts, Revelstoke, Ski Queenstown-Coronet Peak-The Remarkables, and Telluride. Mammoth Resorts and Ski Queenstown-Coronet Peak-The Remarkables do not allow individuals to link a credit card to their RFID Mountain Collective Pass. Revelstoke and Telluride are not on an RFID ticketing system. "

Of course Gabe and I literally bought one the day before the sale  >:(

Got it to work this time. There's a chance I'll be receiving like 8 cards on 2 different credit cards. I guess we'll see...

Threw a newly purchased roof rack and with a snowboard rack on the car today, put on my mudflaps while I was at it. Paired with my winter wheels and tires I put on a couple weeks back i'm ready to hit mount Washington for opening day December 1st!

A buddy and I are trying to plan a Utah trip, or maybe head to California.
Have to try to use up as many passes as you can ;)

Got in 7 days at Fernie over the break. Good snow, needs more, was good but cold
