At first, I thought this was some fancy all in one workout machine and I'm like, makes sense;  Funk's military.  Then I saw the seat brackets on the bottom left and was like, why do you need a racing seat for working out?

Haha, I do need to lose some weight lol but I have to wait until surgery is done. I also just packed all my kit to go away for the next 2 months. So this system will collect some dust.

Haha most definitely not lol sorry. There is a lot of work left to do. Touge had a very busy year so they didnt have much time to work on the car. This is why I brought it back to work on it and finish it up. The goal is to be out testing this spring.

a quick test fit the other night.

with a 19mm spacer and a small mod to the AC/ALT brackets the PW Race manifold fits facing the opposite way it was meant to be. All the fittings will be removed and I just need an alt to 100% have this test fitted. I apparently misplaced mine lol.

Long time no update but there really hasnt been much movement on this. I am still pushing forward, there was a dark moment where I was thinking about a part out lol for the 100th time lol.

new pedal box, I had a Tilton 600 underfoot originally but it did not support ABS. So I was debating between a Tilton 850 underfoot or the PE Racing setup, with the Canadian dollar absolute crap to the USD, I looked a lot more into the PE racing set since they are from Australia and apparently their dollar tanked even worse than ours.

oh and i some how forgot to add pics to the post above... SO they are now there lol

I have some bits out for powder coating, can't wait to see them back.

One day, I might see a video of this car moving under it's own power.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.
If you're having forum problems, I feel bad for you son, I got 99 problems but your post ain't one.

I sent a few bits over to ION COATING, which is run by one of our own members here and has a sick subaru MR I--RIDE--BIKES. This is how they turned out...

SUPER SICK and highly recommended!

found my stash of aluminum bolts that Mark from Mooresport gave me many moons ago lol, so I put them where ever there was a low stress area.

just waiting on the dry sump pump to come back to do another test fitting and hopefully it will still fit haha.

well apparently UPS was working today, after 2 days of disappointment and then being told I wouldn't get the package until Tuesday. It showed up, in the package was the drysump jump, rebuilt and adding a pressure stage to it.

here are the housings that were on the car when the engine failed. You can see that metal did make it through the screens in the pan.

next is the drysump pump mounted and it fits, I was actually really worried that it wouldn't due to the size change.

I had a package come in from Touge Tuning. It had some nice bits along with some OEM replacement parts.

Radium direct mount FPR, this cleaned up the fuel system a lot. I no longer need to figure out where to mount a FPR and more lines going in and out.

also, I replaced the AVCS cam pulleys as they had 250,000km and a motor failure on them. sorry no pics since they are just to replace OEM, figured no one would care to see them.

I ordered a Fluidamper also, only to find out I did not read the instructions properly from Aviaid Dry sump. I needed the ATI damper to mount to drive pulley to it. I have sold this and bought the ATI, should be here by the end of the week.

I am heading back for another surgery on my other Achilles tendon, so next weekend will be the last weekend for a while that I can get anything finished on the car. honestly I am very close, its just a matter of fluid delivery then final checks. But this will be spread out as I do not want to cheap out of the hose and fittings this time around to minimize the risk of oil lines collapsing.

Some new updates.

I had to get an ATI damper and even then it turns out that they sent me the wrong parts anyway, They sent them out and everything fit up nicely.

I had my first vibrant order come in, this is about 1/2 of what I will need

in this vibrant pile were two of these fancy banjo/ORB fittings, I have now removed a second fitting requirement. Here they are to compare.

I asked ION COATING to get my titanium bolts some colour, the gold ones are mine. Also I added time Titanium exhaust studs, these are installed but I cant get a good picture lol.

I am now in a robo boot again after having surgery on my other Achilles tendon so doing a lot of work on the car is hard, I tried making lines and OMG it was an adventure.
