Best Restaurants In Banff - Vegetarian Friendly

In the past when I have gone to Banff I have been single with a bunch of my guy friends so we would eat mostly pub food, The Keg etc. but I am taking my girlfriend this weekend and want to take her out for a nice dinner or two.

What restaurants would you suggest? Price doesn't really matter as we don't eat out much so I don't mind spending the money.

Also, we are both vegetarians so there would have to be vegetarian options.

If there isn't a ton of snow, you can let her graze outside whichever delicious meat-serving restaurant you decide on.

Honestly, I'd just look it up on Google.  Any restaurant in Banff should have some standard of excellence, but there's always that risk.  Time to go adventuring and build your own library of good/bad restaurants.

Maybe. I think I just like the decor. On of those places that hasn't changed in decades, and I hope never does.

Damn..gf and I always go to the Grizzly House when we're in Banff, didn't think it was that bad. Had a few rural friends tell me it was overpriced but I figured I wasn't going to be hunting my own venison or something anyways so thought it was worth it to go once a year or something.

Bear street tavern has awesome pizza, it's the gf's and my go-to when we're in town, can't speak for any of the vegetarian options though.
Might be worth looking in Canmore as well, they have tons of great restaurants from what I've been told.
