Man, I love that battleship grey.
If the sea was vodka, and I was a duck.
I would swim to the bottom, and drink my way up.
But the sea isn't vodka, and I'm not a duck.
So give me the vodka, and stfu.

What were some reasons for outing the EVO and Golf?  I wouldn't say waiting for the RS was a complete waste of time for you.  Had you not waited and gone for the STI immediately, you might be second guessing yourself, always wondering about the what if's.  At least now, you know and can appreciate your car more for what it is.

The reasons why we cut the Evo out of the list was because of the fact that the interior of the Final Edition was very poor, It was very dated, plastics felt cheap and it had a tiny outdated Nav screen. We also didn't like the fact that the Evo hadn't really been changed since 2008 so with all of that in mind the nail in the coffin was the huge difference in pricing. The STi, Focus RS and Golf R were all around 5 to 15k cheaper. The Golf R on the other hand was outted mainly because of 2 things my family and I all did not like the way it looked, and personally I found that it felt a bit underpowered when I compared it to the other cars.

Nice, all good reasons.  Mitsubishi never put money into their interiors, and even the cluster looks gross.  But, they do have Recaros, more power potential/mod cost, and the Active Yaw Control is wizardry.

The Golf is super comfy and refined, as they should be but I'm with you; I don't like the way they look.  Their AWD system is also very good.

I could overlook the interior of the RS if it was priced right, but I can't overlook that BattleshipPrimer Grey.

Looking forward to Part III

Hey Guys! Wow its been like 6 months since I updated this build thread, sorry for the lack of updates I guess life just kind of got busy. This Update Unfortunately is not the final part of my Story Time With Justin however I did want to give ya'll some updates on the car. So for those of you that didn't know in January I made the decision to retire the car from winter driving and daily driving and commit 100% of the build to creating a show car/weekend toy, because of this decision I decided to finally make the car look the way I had always wanted it to. So in early January I decided to order a Varis Arising II bumper with Carbon Lip, Varis Arising I Side Underboards, Verus Non Aggressive Diffuser, Vortex Generator, Perrin Wing Stiffeners and a brand new set of Limited Edition WedsSport SA-20R's. The original plan in January was to have all the parts installed on the car for Driven YYC however the Varis Kit was unfortunately delayed 2 months so I entered the car with its new wheels and diffuser. The Varis Parts finally arrived in June and we were able to have everything fitted and painted in a week and a half. This build was a long and stressful process however it has also been one of the biggest highlights in owning this car. Bellow are a few photos taken during the build process!

I took a close look at your wheels at the last meet.. Pictures don't do them justice. I also can appreciate the new kit! The front isn't for me, but it still looks better than the stock one :P

I'm a huge fan of how the stock Subaru bumpers look.  Still, the Varis is aggressive and different, and that's nice to change things up a bit.  jrchan, I hope I'll be a cool dad like yours one day.  Also, proof that you're Asian is in the bedding right here:

It's too bad the kit didn't make it in time for Driven :(  Here's to next year!  What are you DD'ing these days then?

I still think you should wrap those headers. It'll help on pretty much everything. Also what's the winter beater now?
