I like the OEM wheels :)

I think the only mod you should really consider are...  ITB's.

Man that was a hard sentence; starting with the singular but ending with plural.  Should that be are or is?

I too like the OEM wheels! Which is why I'm not in a huge rush to find summer wheels.

HOW DID I FORGET ABOUT ITBs?!?!

There are ways of fitting ITBs... and even more ways from 'Merica!'
Oh look at that, a helpful youtube video:

Car talk is strange to begin with.

As much as I'd like to run around town running a huge front splitter, I think I'm gonna try and do understated sedan look again. It's also one of the two cars that doesn't have mismatched/damaged/rusty body panels.... Man, I've bought a lot of junk.

The cat back you linked appears to be an axle back, dat helmholtz resonator female deer. And man those long tube headers, especially where the two collector pipes spiral around each other. I wish hks made more subaru stuff, but maybe it's a good thing they don't.

The resonator is what I'm curious to test out. Last thing that I'd like is an exhaust that drones, had that too many times.

The headers are so pretty... but will be wrapped. Keep that heat out of the engine bay.

The 3 is raw.  Lighter than more agile.  The 6 probably feels like a 747.  And by that contrast, my STI probably feels like the Hindenburg.  So GR's are like the International Space Station.

OOOOOOOOOOOOH

Also, thank you! I'll be making a wallet drain rhdjapan sometime!

I had a friend use the site for a Bride seat, cheaper than anywhere else he could find but then shipping took a while. They do have some sweet stuff on there... like this: https://www.rhdjapan.com/hks-capacity-upgrade-kit-4g63-2-3l-step-2-full-kit.html or this: https://www.rhdjapan.com/tomei-engine-kit-4g63-22-conrod-bearings-bundle-pack.html

I waste a lot of time looking at parts on there.

It cleared customs today! Shipping ASAP to Spec R for winters and OPI (at a shop in the same parking lot), and then all I need to do is pay, insure, register, and drive!

I *might* have it for the weekend. Lots of ducks have to be coerced into a row for that to happen... Maybe more like cats... Meaning probably will just wait until after exams on Dec 21... but that won't be *nearly* as much fun.

Agreed

I mean, it is an IS300, so scumbag comes semi-natural. Also, yes. All of the exhaust for the snap, crackles, and pops.

KELLOGS RICE CRISPIES! Ooooo, the holiday colours should be coming out soon.

The car cleared customs and is on the way to Calgary!

Lord tundering Jezus, waiting is hard. Luckily, it's the push for final exams (next week) so my mind isn't just on the car. Maybe close to 90%.
