05 impreza 2.5rs eating oil

My girlfriends cursed car is at it again. After borrowing it for an extended amount of time and actually doing oil level checks regularly, it appears to eat oil pretty quick. About a liter every 2 or 3 fillups.
Also noticed the coolant expansion tank was quite low so I topped it off, seems to have dropped a little, but could just be working air out of the system. Oil looks fine, coolant looks fine, no wetness on engine or under car, exhaust doesnt smell, and Ive never ever noticed a cloud of white or blue smoke behind the thing or been able to smell it when driving behind it.
If you bag on it right after a cold startup, you get a bit of blue smoke out the pipe.

HG going? or oil consumption via the valve stem seals? cracked ringlands? All seems very unlikely with a 200kkm n/a engine.

I had crazy blow-by on my 03 that was alleviated by replacing the PCV. Open the oil cap at idle and see how hard it's pushing.

OK it burns pretty bang on 1mL per 2km.

Not the worst, but much worse than my 300,000km EJ22.
