Went out to Bragg Creek on Saturday, beautiful day! I told the fiancee about Bragging Rights, instead of a blue she wanted to do a green so mapping it out, we chose Snowshoe Hare to Demi-Tel. Bad idea, that itshay was almost all uphill lol. We went up for over an hour, then came down. It's the first time she's ever ridden anything more than Fish Creek, and the trail wasn't very exciting.

She wanted to at least see Bragging Rights so we went up it a bit, damn that is exactly what I was looking for! She liked it too, but we were both too gassed to do the whole thing after going up the other trail. Probably go back after the long weekend and go straight to Bragging Rights.

Nice work.

The first bit of bragging rights is a bit of a punchy climb but it even outs after a little bit. Super fun though just had a group of new riders out doing this loop

Just added a little itty bitty member to the family so not getting out riding as much, but still have a pretty good backlog of footage to edit and post. Here's the latest! Hope you enjoy!

Nice, congrats!

Have you seen this?

I'm contemplating getting one for me and my 4yo to go out riding.. but the price tag is too high.

They're going to park their car over there. You're going to park your car over here. Get it?

Yeah, that looks pretty awesome, lots of money though... We've got our 2.5yo on a run bike and he's loving it, have to get some video of him on the pump track here soon!

Looks like you've been having fun Ryan! The CNES looks like a pretty good time this year, as far as I can tell from Facespace.

I haven't been riding much with the new addition to the family, but trying to make the most of my time on the bike. Here's some vids from the last few rides... there's just a few awesome trails here!

Got a set of Minions to replace my Michelins that were quickly falling apart.

I'm impressed with the difference cornering on loose stuff, and shocked at how much braking traction the rear has now. I should've just nutted up and spent the money years ago, they're awesome!

This happened to me but the other way. I got the first bike I've ever even seen without kendas fr minions rear and was blown away at how itshay my traction was.

Haven't been out in a few weeks, and probably wont before we leave for our wedding mid-July. No riding till mid-August it looks like. We thought we were going to get a lot in too, hopefully we do this fall.

@Longlivetheride - do you have any experience with Frameskin or the other 3M style frame protectors?

I'm looking at Frameskin out of Australia and Invisiframe out of UK.

Ive worked with invisiframe and the kit is very complete and covers a lot of the bike. Its very time consuming and is best done on a new bike. The few i have done took about 3 to 4 hours to do with the a new frame in a box. i have done a few bikes with this kit that were already assembled and it worked well. https://www.allmountainstyle.com/

The nice one.  :)

Having buyers remorse now..  I could have gotten the top of the line YT Jeffsy 29 for almost the same number of bucks.

I was so gung ho on the RM Slayer - rode it at a demo days event and an Instinct too. The Instinct climbed for days, descent on the downs.. the Slayer was wicked fun downhill but got a little wobbly going up popping the front tire.

The Capra dollar for dollar was an AMAZING ride. It hit both marks easily - climbed pretty well but the descents were a riot.

And then this came along, so I bought it..

2017 Rocky Mountain Pipeline 770MSL.

Going from hard pressed on a long travel 29er to ending up with a 150/130 travel 27.5+ bike wasn't where I thought I'd land, but I swear this bike was made for me - fits my style of riding perfectly.

Second ride and hit up Baseline Mountain -

Never been.. how are Baseline trails - difficulty-wise?  Compareable to Edmonton river valley?  Do you need full face, armor?  Do you climb to the top or take a lift?

I rode baseline once, but is was back in like 2003 so any info I have is probably irrelevant. All I really remember is that it was steep. If you look up The Loam Ranger on YouTube, I think he did a recentish video up there.
