I'm taking the gf just to Fish Creek this weekend. She has a ittshay super cycle and doesn't see the value in spending a few hundred on something better. I'm hoping she enjoys it enough to be willing to buy something decent at least. I let her ride mine around the block and she really noticed the difference.

Has anyone rode COP this year? I plan on going the weekend after, as I haven't done much of any riding this year :(.

Rode Baseline mountain for my 28th birthday - was a lot of fun, some runs were too much for me for sure.

Got back from my biking trip. Averaged 1000m/day of vertical. We started a few rides with "Easy day, maybe 2 hours." but we still stayed until we were out of water and experiencing minor heat stroke.

Revy - Frisby Ridge is dope. More of an XC ride, but there's a cool lake at the top. Wish we shuttled so we could also ride Ultimate Frisby at the end.

Kelowna - Smith Creek has jumps and features and stuff that make your pee pee tingle. I've never ridden a trail like this before, it was sweet.

Penticton - 3 Blind Mice area. Really nice if you can find your way around. THE EDJ came out to be our guide. Took us on a really fun loop. I wasn't used to rocky drops, so trying to keep pace with the local man, I did a nice swan dive into a rock. Cracked helmet, minor neck injury, multiple bruises... #noragrets

Squamish - Rode 3 areas here;
Diamond Head; My favourite area in Squam. Lots of variety. Lots of BC tech. Fun climb trails.
Alice Lake; Locals all said they preferred it here, but we found it challenging to loop trails together. Basically the same as Diamond Head.
Valleycliffe; Joined a SORCA social ride for this. Did some scary itshay and pushed my limits here. I was about to ussypay out of a section, and a girl at the bottom said "I just did it, it's easy." So I went for it. I get to the bottom, she goes, "Wow. I wouldn't actually ride that." itchbay. But there were actually girls who rode it, and better than me. Kinda hot.

Whistler - Cheakamus/Whistler South trails, typical BC tech. Super fun, some steep rock faces that you gotta commit to.

Vancouver - Mount Fromme, my favourite of the trip. Tons of variety, lots of sendies, lots of skinnys and delicious cedar structures.

Golden - Moonraker trails, easy XC stuff. Good finish to the trip, since we actually only rode for 90min and wanted to get back to Calgary before dark.

Super rad trip. I really need to get a dropper post before I hit the coast again. Can only get your dick and/or balls nicked by your seat so many times before you want to ragequit life. And a hitch/bike rack if I still take the WRX. Pulling bikes in/out and trying to pack your stuff around them was a pain. Might get some enduro clothes, we were literally the only people out there in spandex. It was fun slaying some armoured up Jerrys, though.
I may scream like a dainty lady, but I punch like a fairly strong 11-year-old.

Damn, all I've done is Fish Creek trails this summer lol. Getting my gf into it and trying to get her to spend a couple hundred and ditch her ittshay Supercycle.

I've got new forks coming to town for the weekend, so I'm pretty pumped for those!

Was at the Fernie bike park the last couple of weekends. It was good but I managed to wreck myself, tacoed my rear wheel, rotor, and tire on aggravated assault extension

How do you like the DVO suspension? I'm rather intrigued by it.

I've been working with the local cycling association and Tourism Penticton on a couple projects. This is the first one:

Did an alpine ride a while ago, that's Apex Mountain Resort in the distance.

It looks like you guys are having a lot of fun there!

I got a gimbal and tried it out for the first time a couple nights ago. Need to work on mounting it better as the whole thing was flopping around. Hoping to do a bunch of videos next year to start cataloging the local trails. Don't mind the squeal, was too cold to get any heat into the metallic pads.

I had the same reaction.. SO COOL!
It needs much better marketing.

Also, I picked this up a few weeks ago. Can't wait to get out and use it.
2009 Marin Mountain Vision 5.7 mint condition. The guy upgraded to a full XT drivetrain 2x10, XT brakes, Monarch RL rear shock.
Mint condition too! Should be great for the trails.
